CF makes 385k impressions
The Carpet Foundation has completed another successful campaign to bring consumers to carpets with 385,022 adverts appearing online from September through to mid-November.
The banner adverts appeared on key consumer interest websites for homesandgardens.com, livingetc.com, idealhome.com and realhomes.com and link carpet buyers to expert advice and guidance and a find-a-store feature for the Foundation's retail members.
The click-through-rate from the adverts to the CF website was good at 0.83 per cent though their campaign this time last year was 1.19 per cent.
"While we were marginally down on last year, we had set such high standards that it was always going to be a challenge to match the previous landmarks and, actually, the outcome is no surprise given the economy, cost of living and consumer confidence," said the Foundation in their newsletter this month.
"In 2023 we have advertised online over 6 months and this medium has to be the way forward as it is cost-effective, quantifiable and we can turn the tap on and off," it commented.
