Company has added a new heavyweight wool twist to their

wool carpet collection.


Made from 80% Pure New Wool, 10% Polypropylene and 10% Tuftbond,

Pembroke is suitable for extra heavy domestic/medium contract use,

making it ideal for high traffic areas such as stairs and hallways.


This classic, heavyweight wool twist has a strong palette of 18

contemporary colourways, including a deep bronze (Rosewood) charcoal

grey (Anvil) and relaxing green (Chervil), accompanied by some classic

neutral beiges and greys. Durable, resilient, and luxurious, Pembroke

combines the natural beauty of wool with long lasting looks. As well as

being moth resistant, the range also comes with a 10-year wear warranty for added peace of mind.

Cormar Carpet Company produces all their wool and polypropylene carpet ranges from two production sites in Lancashire. Distribution is via its two regional distribution centre in Hemel Hempstead and Bury. It also owns its own fleet of over 70 distribution vehicles to ensure a fast delivery service to customers, as well as servicing its retail customers through a team of sales representatives throughout Britain and Ireland.

Industry body unveils “Plan for Growth” to Government

The British Furniture Confederation (BFC), the public affairs umbrella body of furniture and beds, furnishings and flooring sector trade associations, has unveiled its new Plan for Growth. The document is said to support BFC’s advocacy across four key pillars: skills and education; trade and exports; standards and regulations; and the environment and circular economy. It has been developed over the past few months, the organisation says, evolving from a combination of position papers written by the associations’ executives and a comprehensive survey of their collective members.

Furniture spend up 2.4% with Barclaycard
