Karndean Designflooring ♥ The enduring attraction of style

Falling in love isn’t so easy when you have two equally attractive options to choose from!

The new multi-format Van Gogh collection has won the hearts of consumers across a range of beautiful oak designs with a wide palette of cool neutral, grey and warm tones. But it’s smart too, available in both gluedown and rigid core – an approach that appeals to retailers for the flexibility it offers in installation.

It means those looking for the continuity of the same colourway throughout their home are not restricted to just gluedown, especially if they face the challenge of an uneven subfloor in the next room. And with the introduction of Karndean’s first rigid core herringbone design, a whole new range of design options is opened up for renovators looking for enhanced acoustics.

So Karndean Designflooring is a partner of choice for a long-lasting relationship based on the enduring attraction of quality and style!

Victoria ♥ Falling for First Impressions

First Impressions from the EasiCare range at Victoria Carpets is the nation’s favourite Victoria Carpets product.

James Caldwell, Sales Director for Victoria attributes its success to a number of a reasons; “This is the original 10th gauge product to enter the market. We were the first to market with a 100% polyprop product of this kind and through developing the construction we ended up with an outstanding range that not only looks beautiful it can also stand up to the wear and tear of today’s modern family.”

James goes on to say that the product has been tried and tested over a number of years and from the minute it launched, the range proved to be a firm favourite with retailers: “We are so confident with how First Impressions preforms that we have created Hexapod cards to show how it compares over time, and the results speak for themselves. This along with 16 stunning colours, the fact that it is stain resistant, bleach cleanable and made in the UK has all led to its success”.

It’s no secret that one of the biggest issues facing the UK flooring industry is the shortage of skilled labour, and this is a problem that’s only likely to get worse as the older generation hangs up its tools and finds fewer and fewer young hands willing to take up the trade. While the overall declining interest in practical trades is a matter to be addressed by all stakeholders – particularly at a Government level – flooring manufacturers and specialised training outfits have long been playing their parts to raise standards within the industry.
